Up to 5 million lek for agricultural mechanics - Financing 50% of the total value of tax invoices!
According to the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development, last year the highest requests for financing through the National Investment Scheme were for the purchase and improvement of agricultural tools and machinery.
Through this scheme, the government finances 50% of the total value of tax invoices, up to 5 million lek per entity.
This investment supports farmers in the modernization of agriculture and livestock, to carry out work more efficiently and safely, to improve their lives and production.
The National Investment Scheme 2025 includes nine measures, covering all of agriculture, from planting fruit tree seedlings to fruit and vegetable processing. This includes mechanics, livestock farming, stable construction, and beekeeping.
Applications to benefit from this scheme opened on July 30 and will continue until September 30, 2025.
Meanwhile, last year, out of 404 applications in the National Investment Scheme 2024, 305 requests were for agricultural mechanics.
For agricultural mechanics, the average value for farmers is 30 to 36 thousand euros, with 50% financed by a grant from the Investment Scheme. While the rest will be paid by the farmer, a fund from which the farmer can obtain a bank loan using the Sovereign Guarantee Fund, where the state supports 80% of the collateral.
