Artificial Intelligence is introduced into Albanian education - From Master of

At a time when artificial intelligence is being developed and used more and more, Albania will follow the same approach as many other countries around the world, integrating it into the education system. But how will this be achieved?

According to the Digital Education Action Plan 2025-2030, artificial intelligence will initially be used to enable personalized learning.

Specifically, artificial intelligence-powered platforms will be created that will be able to analyze student progress, suggest personalized exercises, provide immediate feedback, and determine which areas the student needs to improve most. This will create opportunities for adapting learning content to each student's individual needs and style.

Being geared towards general use and free, the adoption of ChatGPT and OpenAI in education has also increased. The Ministry of Education and Sports aims to develop guidelines and use cases for these tools, to help teachers use them effectively.

The creation of exchange programs for study programs or courses focused on artificial intelligence, such as those offered by Erasmus, along with dedicated scholarships, are some of the other measures that will be taken in this direction. In addition, a visiting program for professors and AI experts from European universities is expected to be organized and short-term lectures by invited experts will be facilitated.

Also, joint research projects in the field of artificial intelligence and joint courses (such as a Master of Science in AI) will be developed.

An important element is the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into pre-university education, including it within the existing ICT curriculum, especially for students from grade 4 to higher grades.
