Increase in economic activity/ Malaj: 90.5 billion lek in the first half of the year!
Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, announced that the total turnover reported by economic entities in the period January-June of this year has increased by about 90.5 billion lek, thus representing a significant increase and a positive signal for the performance of the Albanian economy.
This growth comes as a result of increased consumption, increased private investment, and the strengthening of certain economic sectors, including trade, construction, industry, and services.
Total revenues for the period January-June reached around 366 billion lek, a realization of 100.6% of the plan for the period. Compared to the same period a year ago, around 22.8 billion lek more or 6.7% more were collected.
In annual terms, total revenues for the first 6 months of 2025 were realized at 48.3% of the annual plan.
