The first residents of "Durana Tech Park" are certified - Rama: We aim for over 5 thousand jobs for technology experts
This Wednesday, the event for the delivery of certificates to the first residents of Durana Tech Park, a space that will be the center of technological development, took place. During his speech, Prime Minister Rama emphasized that this park will advance the digital revolution.
"Durana Tech Park comes to life and moves from a plan and legislation on paper, to the reality of a large number of companies that have expressed interest and as of today receive the certificate of membership of this new digital society, where our main goal is not to bring as many foreign companies as possible, but our main goal is to engage as many Albanian talents as possible. Today, this park, in fact, is leading a digital revolution that will continue step by step with great intensity."
To focus on jobs, Prime Minister Rama emphasized that over 5,000 job opportunities are targeted for technology experts.
"We aim to achieve very quickly, over 5,000 job opportunities, for technology experts and young professionals, which means with very high salaries, much higher than our salaries, to be very clear. We aim to increase our exports and income by approximately 3.5 billion euros within two decades from this initiative alone, which we have studied and confirmed together with our French partners in the general study. We also aim for the income in the state budget during the period I am talking about from this initiative alone to be over half a billion euros, which is something very significant."
The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxha, emphasized that Albania becomes a golden opportunity for the economy of the future.
"Today, it is a concrete reality that is made possible by the wave of confidence in serious investors. Albania thus becomes a golden opportunity for the economy of the future, which is not only the Albanian economy."
