Budget 2025, Gonxja: Support for culture, innovation and professional education increases
The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, through a post on social networks, emphasized that the budget for 2025 for the ministry that he leads, has significant growth in several important sectors.
The total budget for the year 2025 for the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation is 56 billion ALL, with a focus on social security, professional education, innovation, and culture.
Gonxja announced that there will be a 15% increase for the Social Security sector, while foreign funding for programs and investments will increase by 18.2%. He added that 4.5% more support for culture and heritage, 18% increase for Vocational Education as well as 60% increase for Innovation.
In his post, the minister thanked the parliamentary group of the SP and the deputies for their support in the implementation of this budget, which aims at reforms and sustainable development in several key areas.
"Thank you to the Parliamentary Group of the SP and the deputies who supported our vision for reforms and sustainable progress in economic development, vocational secondary education, the labor market, social housing, social security, innovation, heritage, art and culture, European integration, the promotion of investments, for the entire mission, programs and activities that the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation pursues and develops, towards a stronger and more prosperous Albania!" , writes Gonxja.
