'Agriculture 2030'/ Denaj: Three financing instruments for farmers, agro-processors and agritourism!
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, stated that farmers, agro-processors, and entrepreneurs in the field of agritourism now have easier access to financing through three new support instruments: the National Investment Scheme 2025, Soft Loan, and Sovereign Guarantee.
According to Denaj, these instruments, part of the strategic vision "Agriculture 2030", aim to strengthen, modernize and increase the competitiveness of the agricultural sector in Albania.
"These concrete financing instruments turn investment ideas into feasible projects. Through a favorable combination of grant, low-interest loan and collateral guarantee, we put an end to the financial barriers that have hindered investments in agriculture and agritourism for years," she said.
The three main financing instruments are: a grant of up to 50% through the National Investment Scheme 2025; a soft loan with only 2% interest; and a Sovereign Guarantee covering 70% of the collateral required by banks.
This integrated financing model aims to provide full investment coverage, making it easier for farmers and entrepreneurs to develop their activities, increase production, and enter new markets.
The Minister emphasized that applications for these instruments will open at the end of September, and will be accompanied by information sessions in all regions of the country.
