Fire balance, Ministry of Defense: 37 active fires - The situation in Delvina and Gramsh is most problematic
The Ministry of Defense took stock of the fires today, where 37 fires have been registered so far and are active in the country. Operational groups are continuing to work from the ground and air with vehicles, forces, aircraft and helicopters, to extinguish the flames throughout the territory, which have so far caused 1 victim, dozens of injuries and burned houses, as well as dead livestock and entire areas of land, vegetation, forests and orchards burned. The most critical situation is assessed in the Municipality of Delvina, its surroundings and villages. The fire situation is problematic, as it has penetrated the Kasapaj neighborhood, into apartments. 2 Czech and Slovak helicopters are also participating in the operation to assist the ground forces. In the municipality of Finiq, the active hotbed of the Dhivër outbreak, which is currently in Syrin e Kaltër, Pecë, Sirakat, Kardhikaq, towards the municipality of Delvinë, in the hills surrounding the city from the village of Vllahat towards the village of Kakodhiq, continues. At the same time, the hotbed has captured the plateau of the Gjerë mountain and Sopot. For today, it is being operated at the capacity of the municipality.
The second hot spot severely affected by the fires is Gramsh. The fire continues in the village of Kullollas, Skënderbegës Administrative Unit, Gramsh Municipality, where the situation has worsened with the involvement of the villages around Haruna. The Ministry informs that the fire is moving towards the village of Nartë, where an evacuation notice has been issued. There was an increase in the intensity of the fire. All capacities of the district are concentrated in Gramsh.
According to the Ministry of Defense, in addition to Delvina, there are also fires near the municipality of Gjirokastër, in the village of Dhuvjan and the villages of Lugar and Frashtan, in Lazarat and in the villages of the municipalities of Memaliaj and Tepelena.

The Dibër region has fires in Ternovo, in Bize, Martanesh, in the village of Val, Martanesh, and in the village of Sohodoll, Kastriot.
Berat County: there are fires in the village of Rehova, the village of Çorogjaf, Vokopolë, Mbrakull, Velçan, Orizaj, Poshnje and Perondi.
Tirana District: in the villages of the administrative units of Kryevidh, Zall-Herr, Vaqarr and Bërzhitë.
Elbasan County: fires in the villages of the administrative units of Gramsh i Peqin and Polis i Librazhd.
Shkodër District: the villages of the administrative units in Fushë Arrëz, Pukë, Kastrat in Malësia e Madhe and Postribë.
Kukës Region: fire outbreak in Monella Natural Park.
Korça Region: In the village of Gërmenj in Kolonjë.
Lezha District; In the villages of Blinisht and Kotërr.
Civil and military emergency forces are working in all these areas, and it is reported that in most of the fire outbreaks the situation is under control.
