The Parliamentary Committee for Europe and Foreign Affairs has approved the agreement between Albania and Italy for strategic cooperation in several fields, such as health, energy, environment, security and defense industry, education, migration management, etc.
During the presentation, it was announced that the ratification of this agreement opens up opportunities for the development of joint projects, promoting investments, the inclusion of small and medium-sized enterprises in European markets, etc.
The costs arising from the implementation of the agreement will be determined at the time of approval of the specific projects.
The agreement provides for the creation of a Joint Cooperation Committee, with representatives from both countries, which will meet once a year.
