Apartments without ownership certificate - Cadastre, "door to door". How will the verification process be carried out?

All citizens who own apartments without ownership documents will be physically contacted in order to provide a solution to this problem that has arisen over the years.
Specialists from the State Cadastre Agency have begun a "door-to-door" verification of undocumented housing on the ground, starting from Palasa and continuing throughout Albania.
The process has been organized in a new approach, through on-site verification, regardless of whether or not citizens have applied to the Cadastre to receive a certificate of ownership.
The process will initially begin with the villages of Albania, where the problems are greatest, and will then continue with the cities.
Cadastral employees will make measurements, verify documentation, and in each case where the legal criteria are met, a decision will be issued, which will be sent to citizens directly in e-Albania.
The Cadastre emphasizes that residents will be communicated with through a transparent process and they will be clarified about the stage their file is in and after the completion of the work in each area, the status of all treated apartments will be published.
The status will show who has been provided with a decision, who needs to complete the file with a document that the Cadastre cannot provide itself, such as proof of inheritance, as well as cases where teams have not been able to access the apartment. So every citizen will know clearly where their case is and what they need to do next.
The State Cadastral Agency asks residents to cooperate with property specialists and to ensure that they are in the apartment in order to provide a solution to a problematic issue such as that with properties.
Resolving this impasse will give citizens full legal rights over their properties, the opportunity for investment, sale, etc.
