Civil Aviation/Balluku: The main pillar of the success of Albanian tourism!
Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku, also Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, shared a message on social media today regarding the increase in traffic at Mother Teresa International Airport in Tirana, which has now become the main gateway for tourists and foreign visitors to our country.
She brought the example of the Ryanair company, which has already expanded to 25 destinations departing from Rinas.
"Ryanair, now with 25 destinations and 135 flights per week, at the "Mother Teresa" International Airport, promotes Albania as a hidden treasure of Europe," said Balluku.
Balluku emphasized that civil aviation is the main pillar of the success of Albanian tourism.
The continued increase in passenger numbers reflects the success of Tirana International Airport's strategic initiatives aimed at increasing connecting flights and accessibility.
Continuing its role as a vital gateway connecting Albania to major global destinations, Tirana International Airport remains steadfast in its commitment to providing better services, promoting tourism, and contributing significantly to the overall development of the region.
