Seven streets in Tirana will be rehabilitated - From "Him Kolli" to "Maksut Dërrasa". The Municipality opens the 358 million lek tender
The Municipality of Tirana has opened two tenders with a total limit fund of 358 million lekë for the rehabilitation of seven roads. The first tender worth 129 million lekë foresees interventions on the streets “Him Kolli” and Hajdar Hidi” in unit no. 10, “Milo Duci” and “Prenk Jakova” in unit no. 7, the street “Maksut Dërrasa” in administrative unit no. 9.
According to the document published by the Public Procurement Agency, the streets "Milo Duci" and "Prenke Jakova" located in administrative unit no. 7 are in a relatively damaged condition, without sidewalks, without rainwater drainage, and without the necessary signage.
Likewise, the same problems occur on “Him Kolli” street and “Hajdar Hidi” street of administrative unit no. 10, where the asphalt layer appears damaged. In the area where the facility is located, there are mainly 4-5-story buildings built before the 90s, as well as 8-9-story buildings built after 1995.
On the other hand, Maksut Dërrasa Road in Administrative Unit No. 9, is completely without road surface and necessary infrastructure. Part of this segment is located in front of the “Vaçe Zela” school, while the width of the road varies from 3 to 8 meters.
Meanwhile, the second tender has a value of 229 million and 155 thousand lekë and foresees the rehabilitation of the streets "Kostandin Kristoforidhi" and "17 Nëntori". According to the tender document, it will be possible to build an infrastructure that is as suitable as possible for the residents of the area of the administrative unit, Kashar.
This segment serves as the main road for the residents of the area, as well as being one of the alternative secondary roads for people entering and exiting the city of Tirana, as it is a segment that is directly connected to one of the most populated areas of the city, "Astir".
