AKMC cooperation with France for civil emergency management!
The National Civil Protection Agency welcomed a French delegation of representatives of the Higher Studies Course of the French Ministry of the Interior (IHEMI), within the framework of the 36th session on the theme "Security and Justice".
The delegation, headed by Gendarmerie Lieutenant Colonel Jean-Stephan Nogue, Head of the Department of Security and Justice, included experts in the fields of public order, the judiciary, local government, the penitentiary system, civil emergencies and the French fire service.
During the visit, according to the AKMC announcement, they were introduced to the organization and functioning of the civil protection system in Albania, the legal framework for disaster risk management, operational structures and emergency response mechanisms at all administrative levels.
Following the activity, the delegation visited the premises of the National Civil Emergency Operations Center, where the technical aspects and real-time intervention procedures were presented.
AKMC emphasizes that this exchange constitutes an important contribution to strengthening capacities and promoting further inter-institutional cooperation in the field of civil emergency management.
