54 million euro grant for safe transport - Agreement approved. Western Balkans Fund administered by WB

During the "Road to the EU" summit in Tirana, the approval of a grant of 54 million euros was announced, which will go to the safe and sustainable transport program, administered by the World Bank.
The program aims to improve road and rail safety, including digitalizing processes, promoting green practices, and facilitating trade through border crossings.
The World Bank representative emphasized that cooperation on this project has been developed closely and in harmony between the beneficiary countries, describing the grant as a unique investment package, which aims to bring the Western Balkans region closer to the European Union.
