"11 million tourists in 11 months" - Kumbaro: Income has increased by 34% in 2 years
About 11 million foreign citizens visited Albania from the beginning of the year to the end of November.
The sector, which is seen more and more as the one that will take the direction of the "locomotive" of the economy, is developing year after year.
The figures were shared with the public by the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, during a conference held on sustainable tourism.
The head of the tourism department in the country also spoke about the income that the sector has brought to the country's economy, where for the period of 2 years there has been a satisfactory increase.
It is expected that by the end of the year a total of 12 million foreign citizens will have visited Albania.
