Kosovo Government to set price caps - Confiscation of unjustified assets is expected to be approved soon

The Kosovo Government held its second meeting after its formation, where it approved the draft program of draft laws for the years 2026–2028. Prime Minister Albin Kurti emphasized that two draft laws will have priority on the agenda.
"Within the framework of the legislative agenda, we will prioritize the processing of the Draft Law on the State Bureau for the Confiscation of Unjustified Assets and the new Draft Law on Price Ceilings ," Kurti said.
Meanwhile, the establishment of two local public enterprises was decided.
The draft regulation for defining the areas of administrative responsibility of ministries was also approved, as well as the draft program for the ex-post evaluation of legal acts, which aims to analyze the effectiveness of legislation after its entry into force.
Also, draft laws were approved for the ratification of Amendment No. 2 of the Financial Agreement with the European Union for the IPA 2017 Program (part one) and Amendment No. 3 for the IPA 2018 Program, enabling the continuation of financial support from the EU.
