From December 1, 2024, visa-free to Taiwan - The visa regime for citizens of Kosovo is removed
Starting from December 1, 2024, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo will be able to travel without visas to the state of Taiwan.
Through a reaction on social networks, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Kreshnik Ahmeti, announced that free movement to Taiwan applies to all citizens of Kosovo with regular, diplomatic or official passports.
"This marks another important step in the international strengthening of Kosovo's passport, where visa-free travel to the Schengen Area, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Israel and now Taiwan was made possible only within this governing mandate," Ahmeti writes.
This new opportunity for free movement with Taiwan paves the way for economic partnership and exchanges in the field of education and culture, adds Ahmeti.
