Declaration of rents, October - November - 3891 more registered taxpayers

During the period October - November of this year, 3891 more taxpayers were registered for withholding tax related to rents.
According to the General Directorate of Taxes, this figure is 3 times higher than the 9-month average.
"This increase reflects the commitment of businesses in fulfilling tax obligations and improvement in the formalization of the economy," emphasizes DPT.
October 20 was initially defined as the deadline for businesses to declare to the tax administration the status of ownership or the lease contract of the premises where they exercise their economic activity.
But this deadline was postponed until November 20, when the Tax Administration announced that it would improve the module to make the declaration simpler for taxpayers.
They should submit within this date the relevant documentation that proves the declaration, such as the ownership document, the tenant's contract, etc.
The government anticipates that the income from the rent tax will have a progressive increase from year to year, where from 487 million ALL projected in 2024, to 1 billion ALL in 2025, to reach 1.5 billion ALL in 2027 .
