Kosovo's economy grew by 4.58% in the second quarter of 2025
The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published Gross Domestic Product data for the second quarter of 2025, which marked an increase of 4.58%.
According to the KAS press release, the economic activities that increased in this quarter were: Construction 4.15%; Financial and insurance activities (8.79%); Scientific, professional and technical activities, as well as administrative and support service activities (4.27%); Manufacturing (3.34%); Public administration and defense; compulsory social security; education; health and social work activities (0.99%); Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; transport and storage; accommodation and food service activities (3.62%); Arts, entertainment and recreation, household goods production activities for own use and other services (2.83%); Information and communication (2.38%); Agriculture, forestry and fishing (2.98%); and Real estate activities (0.44%).
Meanwhile, there was a decrease in these activities: Extractive industry; processing; electricity, gas, steam and air supply; water supply; waste treatment and management activities, rehabilitation (-6.79%).
