The new platform "Startup Albania" is presented/ Rama: We will soon establish the National Council for Innovation

The new "Startup Albania" Platform is being presented at the Innovation Hub (formerly Pyramid) premises with the participation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister of Economy and Innovation Delina Ibrahimaj, as well as the virtual presence of the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence Diella
The Startup Albania Platform (startupalbania.gov.al) is an important step in supporting new entrepreneurship, aiming to provide support through digital education, startup promotion, transparent and efficient interaction, internationalization, and information on the latest developments—including collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Diella, welcomed the launch of the event, saying that "innovation is not about replacing people with machines; it is about empowering people to make reality what once seemed beyond reality."
Meanwhile, the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, stated that the startup agency is returning from transparent procedures that are carried out by artificial intelligence. In two years, we have doubled the number of startups and Albania ranks first in the number of women in this system at 37%.
According to Prime Minister Edi Rama, one of the things that we will materialize very soon is the National Council for Innovation, which in practice will be the main actor with all stakeholders that will share ideas, concerns and propose solutions.
"We want to eliminate as much as possible all bureaucratic obstacles for businesses, starting from the issuance of residence permits, or work permits and the various types of documentation required abroad or within the country and all the rules they must comply with.
