Trump in London, Britain-US 42 billion USD agreement/ Partnership includes

Britain and the United States have signed a technology deal to strengthen ties in the fields of artificial intelligence, quantum computing and civil nuclear power, with major American companies pledging to invest $42 billion. The partnership was a key part of US President Donald Trump's second state visit to Britain.

London said the pact includes cooperation in developing artificial intelligence models for healthcare, expanding quantum computing capabilities and accelerating civil nuclear energy projects. According to the government, this will support economic growth, scientific research and energy security in both countries.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that the agreement has the potential to impact the lives of millions of people on both sides of the Atlantic and bring economic growth.

The US is Britain's largest bilateral trading partner. Starmer is trying to make the country attractive to new investment, favoring a less regulatory approach to technology, similar to that of the US, in contrast to the restrictive laws of the European Union.

Among the deals announced, chipmaker Nvidia said it would deploy 120,000 graphics processing units in Britain, the largest number deployed in Europe to date. The company is working to install up to 60,000 of the advanced chips, which will be used in the British phase of the giant American Stargate project.

Microsoft announced it would invest a total of £22 billion to expand its cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure, as well as build the largest supercomputer in Britain. Meanwhile, Google announced a £5 billion investment, which includes a new data center in north London.
