How did DeepSeek compete in the global market? - Rival companies follow the

Chinese AI rivals are openly competing with DeepSeek, which shook up the global AI industry a year ago with the launch of a low-cost model. Other domestic companies are already preparing to create new models, some designed with more consumer appeal.

The rapid growth of the DeepSeek firm was the initiator of an ecosystem focused on low-cost models, thus motivating other firms to develop the chain.

Rival company ByteDance officially introduced its Seedance 2.0 model, which it claims has the ability to produce cinematic films within seconds, according to the Chinese newspaper Global Times.

Also, DeepSeek is preparing its futuristic V4 model, while rival Alibaba is expected to unveil the Qeen 3.5 series, which features high mathematical and programming capacity, according to technology experts.

In the US, investors saw DeepSeek as a model comparable to OpenAI’s best-of-breed Chat Gpt, but at a much lower cost. A report by the RAND research group on US-China artificial intelligence competition found that Chinese models operate at roughly one-sixth to one-quarter the cost of US systems.

However, the firm remains focused on improving the performance of the base model, as rivals are shifting their emphasis towards integrating artificial intelligence into customer services.

Meanwhile, this move also pushes DeepSeek executives to advance in the vast commercial market around the world by focusing on audience demands.
