Energjia bërthamore, Rusia zgjeron dominimin - Mbi 10 impiante të reja do të ndërtohen jashtë territorit rus
Rusia po ndërton më shumë se 10 impiante bërthamore në shtete të tjera për të rritur ndikimin e saj global. Ndërkohë, qeveritë perëndimore po kërkojnë alternativa për të konkurruar me dominimin rus në këtë sektor.
Rusia po ndërton mbi 10 impiante të energjisë bërthamore në shtete të tjera për të ndihmuar në kapitalizimin e kërkesave në rritje të nxitura nga inteligjenca artificiale dhe tregjet në zhvillim.
Sipas analistëve, uraniumi është gazi i ri dhe Rusia mbetet një nga burimet kryesore të karburantit bërthamor. Në të njëjtën kohë, eksportet bërthamore të Rusisë po lulëzojnë pasi Kremlini kërkon të arrijë marrëveshje më shumë vende duke përdorur kontrata 60-vjeçare.

Agjencia Ndërkombëtare e Energjisë Atomike parashikon një rritje prej 155% të kapacitetit gjenerues bërthamor global deri në vitin 2050, duke arritur në 950 GW. Plani i zgjeruar i Rusisë përfshin ndërtimin e reaktorëve, furnizimin me karburant dhe shërbime të ngjashme në 54 vende, sipas hulumtimit të Institutit Norvegjez të Çështjeve Ndërkombëtare. Financial Times raportoi më parë se Rusia është e përfshirë në mbi një të tretën e të gjithë reaktorëve të rinj globalë në ndërtim.
Qeveritë perëndimore po kërkojnë të konkurrojnë dominimin e Rusisë në sektorin bërthamor. SHBA ndaloi importet e uraniumit të pasuruar me Rusinë në maj, ndërsa shumica e vendeve të Evropës Lindore kanë gjetur furnizues alternativë për reaktorët e epokës sovjetike.
