The level of stress at work in our country has further increased as Albanians have accepted that it accompanies them every day. According to the 2021/2022 Emotion Index report of the American analytical and consulting company Gallup, based in Washington, a survey with a group of about 1000 people discovered that for 59% of participants, stress prevailed over good or positive feelings.

A month ago, stress was at a level of 45%, showing that day by day more Albanians are experiencing and admitting that they feel stressed at work.

Albania is ranked in the top ten countries in terms of stress levels, while on the Balkan level, our country is number one followed by Serbia, Kosovo, etc.

Globally, statistics show that Afghanistan and Lebanon have the most stressed citizens at work, while in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, numbers show that they are among the lowest.

Gallup explains that with the elimination of stress, a good and solid salary would meet the needs of citizens globally. Through this index, the analytical company measures five negative experiences such as anger, stress, sadness, physical pain, and worry in about 160 countries around the world.

The data from the pandemic period also mentions another factor, loneliness. According to Gallup, 330 million adults go about two weeks without talking to a friend or family member, limiting themselves to an opportunity to ask for help.
