The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) organizes Matchmaker Albania 2 - The largest business event in the country

On the 26th, at the Palace of Congresses, the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) will hold Matchmaker Albania 2, the largest business event in the country.
This activity is in its second edition this year. The first edition was a considerable success, both in terms of the number of countries represented in the activity – over 40 countries – and the number of investors, over 500, as well as the number of participants in a day dedicated to investments and the ecosystem, over 1000 participants related to the field of trade, economy and investment.
MatchMaker Albania 2 represents an important step in positioning Albania as a serious investment destination in the region. It is a moment to show achievements, to express needs and to grow in terms of contracts and agreements. But it is also a day to raise issues related to business or other actors, and this is the perfect day for solutions, as all those who can contribute are present: state institutions, international organizations, important businesses and the innovative ones, which we so need.
On this day, potentials are discussed and agreements are reached that contribute to the country's economic development and to strengthening its role in the region and beyond. Through B2B meetings and the participation of key stakeholders, the event is expected to produce measurable results with long-term impact.
Participation in this platform is an opportunity for any company or investor looking to expand and create new synergies. For Albanian businesses, it is a step towards internationalization and increasing production capacities, human resources, infrastructure and exports.
For foreign investors, it is an opportunity to enter an emerging market with high potential; to meet the most important local businesses on site; to contact state actors who can facilitate their investment; to find suppliers or co-investors.
This year, MatchMaker Albania 2 is built on four key sectors that are considered pillars of development and innovation in the country:
• Future Estate – real estate and tourism development, with a focus on sustainable projects and modern hospitality infrastructure.
• Smart Agriculture – modernizing agriculture through technology and increasing productivity.
• Digital Horizons – digital transformation and support for startups and technological innovation.
• Power Next (Energy) – investments in clean energy and energy transition.
These sectors represent not only Albania's current potential, but also its strategic direction for sustainable development and international competitiveness.
The institutional coordination for organizing this one-day investment-focused event reflects a clear commitment to attracting foreign capital and strengthening local business.
