How technologically developed is Albania? The report ranks the US and Israel at the top of the list
In a world where technology is advancing at breakneck speed, only a select few countries are profoundly redefining the way we live, work and connect with each other.
CeoWorld’s latest report spotlights countries where technology has seamlessly integrated into everyday life, transforming public services, revolutionizing education, reshaping industries and reimagining urban planning.
According to the report, Albania ranks 163rd, with a score of 56.41 points. Although not ranked among the most developed countries in the world, Albania maintains a positive technological record and is expected to make significant advances in the coming years. This is closely related to recent reforms, such as the creation of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the digitalization of many public administration processes, which in the future will be supervised through systems based on artificial intelligence.
The United States of America tops the list, remaining the most technologically advanced country in 2025, leading in sectors such as Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology and digital innovations. Israel is closely followed, known for its many technological developments and strong startup ecosystem that is shaping the future of global technology.
At the other end of the spectrum, the report highlights countries that face significant challenges in advancing technologically. Pakistan tops the list of least technologically developed countries, due to weak governance and lack of stability. It is followed by Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria and East Timor, which face profound challenges related to a lack of infrastructure, investment and widespread access to education and technology.
