How much will the country's economy expand in 2025? United Nations: Economic growth is expected at 3.6%, stable inflation
The United Nations report in the 2025 edition, on the economic situation and prospects, shows that new challenges await the region in the coming years. Referring to the data of the last bulletin, the Gross Domestic Product of Albania is expected to expand by 3.6% for the year 2025. On the other hand, according to the report, for the year 2026 the data follows the same trajectory predicting a more modest growth of only 3.5% .
According to the report, the expected acceleration of regional growth depends on the improvement of economic conditions, which have so far been affected by a number of global factors such as the pandemic, conflicts and environmental conditions.
Regardless of the external winds, remittances, foreign direct investments
and tourism, in the case of Albania, appear optimistic.
According to the figures of the report on economic growth projections in the countries of the region, it seems that Serbia is expected to have the highest economic growth. Serbia's economy is expected to expand by 4% in 2025, while in Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina economic growth is expected to be 3.4%, 3.2% and 2.7% respectively.
