With the entry into force of the law "On the State Police", which defines the mission, organization, duties, rights and status of the State Police, the approval of the acts that regulate the activity, labor relations, career guarantee, well-being and continuity in office follows. of police officers.
Today's decision completes and fulfills the legal basis for the implementation of the rights to be rewarded for high results in the performance of the duty. It reflects that the reward from the General Director of the State Police is in the amount of 3 monthly salaries for high results in the performance of the duty by the police officer, defining the criteria that must be met by the police officers to benefit from this reward.

The Council of Ministers approved a very important act regarding the definition of rules and criteria for awarding compensation to police officers. As you are also aware, in August 2024, the new State Police law approved all activity, regulation, organization, planning and awarding of rewards for the State Police.
In this way, there is an innovation for the continuous provision of assistance to the State Police. Very soon the whole activity of organizing and giving these rewards will be unified. The government expressly defines its will for the important mission of the State Police in its policy. The role of the police is a very key one and the motivation of the police force will always be in the priorities and objectives of the Albanian government.
