The free energy market is expanding - OSHEE establishes the Supplier Platform, 6 kV voltage customers will emerge next year
The liberalized electricity market will expand next year with customers connected to the 6 kV voltage. Everything was announced during the presentation of the Supplier Platform by OSHEE Group, which will help businesses that now have the right to choose their own energy supplier.
The Supplier Platform will create a history in managing the supplier change process. It includes request, approval or archiving for supplier change, information about real-time consumption from advanced intelligent systems where smart meters transmit data online, which will be connected to the platform.
The benefits of the OSSH from this online platform are the information it receives in a timely manner on the number of applications in the free market, their automatic distribution according to companies, automatic reconciliations and automatic invoice calculations for each supplier.
FSHU, FTL and all other private suppliers, through the Supplier Platform, are notified in real time of each application as the actions for changing supplier will be automatic and the conclusion of the new contract is online. Suppliers will also receive in real time hourly metering data for each customer they supply.
According to OSHEE, the establishment of a platform for changing suppliers was a necessity after the year 2024 marked a record number with around 300 requests for changing suppliers from customers.
The liberalization of the energy market is being carried out gradually, where after customers connected to the 35 kV voltage, customers connected to the 20 kV network fully entered the free market, continuing with customers connected to the 10 kV network, who severed relations with OSHEE from January 1 of this year.
Some of them are supplied by the Free Market Supplier, which is one of the companies of OSHEE Group. More specifically, FTL supplies electricity to 85 customers connected to the 35kV distribution network, 1675 customers at 20kV voltage and 2131 customers at 10kV voltage.
