Tourism is promoting the opening of accommodation units - 9.57 million euro investment for the 12 new hotels that are expected to be built
The rapid and sustainable development of tourism is creating new opportunities and encouraging more and more individuals to engage in initiatives directly related to this sector.
Many of them are motivated to invest in opening businesses, especially in accommodation structures, such as hotels, which play an important role in supporting this development.
According to the latest data from the Institute of Statistics, during the third quarter of the year, a total of 12 construction permits were granted for hotels and similar structures, a clear indicator of the growth rates of this sector.
According to INSTAT figures, the total area covered by these 12 construction permits is approximately 26,000 square meters, a value that shows a clear growth trend in this area.
Compared to the same period last year, this area has undergone a significant increase, reaching an addition of about 16 thousand square meters, which represents an increase greater than the tripling of the area used for the construction of new hotels .
On the other hand, the value of the investments that are expected to be spent for the construction of these 12 new hotels, which have already received the relevant permission for construction, is estimated to reach a total of 9.57 million euros.
Compared to the same 3-month period last year, the amount of investments has seen a significant increase of 5.3 million euros, marking an increase greater than the doubling of the value of investments.
