Taxes: Over 15 thousand taxpayers benefit from the automatic cancellation of liabilities, 28.8 million euros are eliminated
The process of automatic cancellation of tax liabilities, in implementation of the Amnesty Law, continues throughout the country, the General Directorate of Taxes announces.
According to official data, so far 15,715 taxpayers have benefited, while the value of deleted or extinguished liabilities has reached 28.8 million euros.
The process includes the cancellation of fines for failure to declare on time, calculated until December 31, 2024, as well as fines for late submission of the decision on the allocation of the result and financial statements, for liabilities calculated until the same date.
The General Directorate of Taxes emphasizes that the process of automatic cancellation of liabilities is continuing according to the provisions of the Amnesty Law, with the aim of easing the administrative and financial burden for taxpayers who benefit from this measure.
