"We are subsidizing the medicinal plant sector" - Berisha: We will double the budget for agriculture
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a conversation with medicinal plant producers, promised subsidies for this sector. According to him, the budget for agriculture will also be doubled.
In our project for a Greater Albania, we consider the agricultural sector a sector of primary importance for the realization of this project. And we are committed to a complete reversal of the current system, of this system's attitude towards agriculture, livestock, aromatic plants, etc. We will double the budget for this sector and quadruple or quintuple the subsidy for farmers. We will subsidize every hectare planted, every head of livestock and every seedling planted. For you as a special sector, we will subsidize your every effort for cultivation, for collection, for assembly, for processing and for export.
All of this support, Berisha said, is 100 percent consistent with the Made in Albania philosophy, Albanian production.
Because we consider this Made in Albania to be Archimedes' lever to increase salaries, to increase pensions, to enrich families, to increase production, to consolidate the economy as a productive economy. We declare production as the leader of our economy. Because Albania has extraordinary production capabilities and production has been declining for several years.
In addition to subsidies for the entire process up to export, Berisha promised other logistical facilities for the collection of these plants, as well as for their processing industry in the country.
