National Agricultural Support Scheme - Applications open, deadline for farmers until May 30. Aims to promote the development of the sector
The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development announces that applications for the National Agricultural Support Scheme for 2025 have opened today.
Individual farmers, groups of farmers, who will benefit from 100% of the applied value, natural and legal persons, and agricultural cooperative societies can benefit from this scheme.
Farmers can apply until May 30 to benefit from support measures, which include support for the basic registered herd of cattle; support for the basic registered herd of small animals; beekeeping; support for seeds, seedlings and other inputs; support for the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants; support for organic farms; Global GAP certification, as well as support with oil for mechanized work in agriculture.
The National Agricultural Support Scheme aims to promote the sustainable development of agriculture, increase domestic production and improve the competitiveness of Albanian products in the market.
At the same time, the innovation this year consists of financing measures for all farmers and livestock keepers, for all those who raise calves for fattening. The financial measure for calves will be 5 thousand lek per head, while the financial support for cows will be 10 thousand lek per head.
According to the announcement from the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development, the application is made online through the e-Albania portal, from April 14, 08:00 to May 30, 24:00.
