AAPSK doubles income from property leasing for the first quarter of 2025!
The Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets (AAPSK) doubles revenues from the rental of seized and confiscated properties for the first 3 months of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024. According to data made public by the Agency, for the first 3 months of the year, revenues have reached around 50 million lek, compared to 24.4 million lek for the previous year.
In this way, AAPSK continues to maintain the pace of growth in revenues from good administration, after closing 2024 with 159 million lek in revenues, or 96.2% more than in 2023.
The increase in revenue was achieved through increased efficiency and good management, as well as an increase in the number of seized or confiscated properties that were leased by the Agency.
The collected revenues, in addition to being used for the functional duties of the Agency, also go towards compensating crime victims, benefiting the community, as well as providing financial and infrastructural support for law enforcement agencies.
Leasing seized or confiscated assets makes it possible for these assets to be utilized and bring benefits to the community and the state budget.
The AAPSK manages seized and confiscated assets to generate income through leasing or other forms of exploitation by third parties, but without alienating them.
