The draft law "On the Budget of 2025" was discussed in principle in the Parliamentary Committee for Education and Public Information Media. During the report on the budget for Culture, the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, emphasized that this draft budget gives increased attention to art, culture and cultural heritage.

"Out of MEKI's total investment of 4.35 billion ALL, 40% of the total goes to cultural programs. We aim to increase access to culture, expand and improve cultural markets, crafts, etc. One of the interventions we made in budget planning was the reduction of 18.2% of the funds for administration and management of the sectors we cover. In this draft budget, we will strengthen a realistic macroeconomic framework."

Meanwhile, the draft budget dedicated to professional education was also discussed in principle. Deputy Minister Olta Manjani emphasized that this reform guarantees quality and is closely related to the labor market.

"There is increasing improvement for vocational education. The increase in the budget for vocational education has improved the quality of vocational education. Focus on improving the infrastructure and vocational schools. Equipment with advanced technology. In the draft budget of 2025, 4.5 billion ALL have been allocated, for 2026, 4.42 billion ALL have been allocated, and for 2027, 4.23 billion ALL have been allocated."
