As the fund foreseen for the pensioners' bonus for 2025 is 37 million euros, the Minister of Finance Petrit Malaj has explained how the increase in the budget will work, in order to achieve the granting of the spring bonus and the one of 100-150 euros at the end of the year .
During the discussion in principle of the 2025 draft budget, the opposition MPs also asked questions about investments.
After approval in principle, the budget will be discussed item by item in the Parliamentary Committees. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party has submitted 17 amendments, requesting the change of the budget.
Among other things, PD demands a 5-fold increase in the proposed fund for pensions, a 3-fold increase in funds for the persecuted, an increase of 1% of GDP in the budget for education and health, an unconditional increase for municipalities to 1.5% of GDP of, etc.
