Project-Budget 2025/ Rama: Second bonus for pensioners every beginning of spring
Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today in the Parliament that in parallel with the distribution of the bonus at the end of the year, the government will also distribute a second bonus in the spring.
During the discussion of the 2025 draft budget, Rama said that for this purpose, in the first days of December, the second bonus fund will be created at the Bank of Albania.
"After 3-folding and 2-folding the end-of-year bonus, in the first days of December we also create at the Bank of Albania the second bonus fund, the spring bonus that will further influence the increase in annual income of pensioners", said Rama.
He informed that this bonus will be given at the beginning of each spring, allocating to all pensioners an amount obtained from the growth of the state's economy in the previous year.
"Just from these two annual bonuses plus the automatic annual indexation of pensions in relation to the increase in prices, our pensioners will be able to immediately understand the meaning of the figures of the exemplary economic growth of Albania on the path to EU membership within this decade", he said. he.
