"We are multiplying the production of energy from the sun" - Berisha: We will lower the price. Photovoltaic panels throughout the country
The addition of photovoltaic panels for the production of solar energy is one of the promises of the Democratic Party on the occasion of the May 11 elections. Sali Berisha held a meeting today with Albanian immigrants in Naples, Italy, where he presented the Democratic Party's offer for the next 4 years.
" Multiplication of solar energy production. From south to north we will install photovoltaic panels and Albanians will receive free energy from those panels."
"Albania has one of the largest gas pipelines in Europe, so Albanian citizens will benefit first and foremost from this energy production. Businesses will receive energy at the cheapest price in Europe, 6 lek per kilowatt. Citizens will pay only 7 lek. While those with photovoltaic panels will pay only for 3 years and after 3 years they will pay nothing."
According to Berisha, immigrants have a crucial role in building Albania, therefore, as many incentives as possible are needed to encourage them to return.
"This year will be the year of the Albanian diaspora, because they will be the ones who will save Albania. 5 years without any taxes for all of you who will return to Albania to invest. The friendliest and most attractive climate in Europe for business. The 10% tax will be the main tax in Albania", said the Chairman of the Democratic Party.
