The state collects 6.5 billion euros in 10 months - Revenues increase. Contributions and salaries the most positive performance

The state budget has collected 628 billion lek or about 6.5 billion euros in 10 months, with a realization of 99.7% of the plan for the period. Compared to the same period a year ago, about 37.7 billion lek more or 6.4% more were collected.
Tax revenues (revenues from net VAT in the country, profit tax, personal income tax, national taxes), for the period January-October 2025, were realized in the amount of 214 billion lek, 25 billion lek or 13.2% more than January-October 2024. Compared to the plan, the collected revenues are 472 million lek more.
Almost all items have had an increasing performance, but expressed in percentage terms, the highest increase belongs to revenues from personal income tax, realized at 69.5 billion lek, 26.5% more than a year ago, where the fight against informality has had a significant impact. Revenues from VAT collected (net) were realized in the amount of 56.7 billion lek, 7.5 billion lek or 15.3% more than the period January-October 2024, influenced by the increase in consumption and tourism. Revenues from contributions were realized in the amount of 149.1 billion lek, or 11.8% more than January-October 2024, and with a realization of 100.2% of the plan for the period. 49 billion lek were collected from profit tax, 1.9 billion lek or 4.1% more than the period January-October 2024.
Customs revenues (revenues from VAT on imports, excise duties, customs duties and mineral royalties) were realized at the value of 199.7 billion lek, 9.3 billion lek or 4.9% more than January-October 2024, and with a realization of 99.8% of the plan for the period for customs revenues for 2025.
Total public expenditures reached about 578.8 billion lek with a realization of 96.2% of the plan for the period, while capital expenditures resulted in about 66.4 billion lek for the 10-month period of 2025. Compared to the plan, they were realized at 83.3%. The surplus level resulted in about 49.2 billion lek for the 10-month period of 2025. Compared to the same period a year ago, the surplus level resulted 30.7% lower or about 21.8 billion lek less.
