The most intelligent Albanians in the Balkans/ We improve by 4 points, ranking 19th

About 1.2 million people from around the world have taken part in the international IQ test, conducted in dozens of different countries, with the aim of measuring the average level of intelligence by country. The data show that in 84.8% of countries, the average IQ score has changed by less than 2 points from year to year, which indicates relative stability in this indicator.
But how does Albania appear in this global ranking?
According to data published by the International IQ Test, Albania ranks 19th out of 137 countries examined. Our country is rated with an average of 101 points, about 4 points more compared to last year. This result positions Albania as the country with the highest IQ in the Balkans and the region.
Following Albania is Serbia, which ranks 32nd with 99.8 points, while North Macedonia and Montenegro are ranked 45th and 51st, respectively. Bosnia and Herzegovina closes the region's list, ranking 67th.
Which countries have the highest IQ in the world?
According to the test results, Asian countries dominate the global rankings. South Korea holds the top spot as the country with the highest IQ in the world, followed by China and Japan. These countries are known for their strong investments in education, technology and scientific research, as well as for their rapid pace of economic development and innovation.
In Europe, the highest scores are recorded by Russia and Spain, which lead the continent in terms of average IQ.
What about the countries with the lowest IQ?
At the bottom of the global rankings are several countries in Africa and Southeast Asia. According to the data, Rwanda, Timor Leste and Somalia are ranked as the countries with the lowest average IQ. These results are closely linked to factors such as poverty, limited access to education, long-standing conflicts, and a lack of investment in health and social development.
