Albania-Sweden/hasani: Albania determined to fulfill the comprehensive process towards the EU
The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Igli Hasani, welcomed today in Tirana the Minister for European Affairs of Sweden, Jessica Rosencrantz.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the fruitful cooperation and ties between Albania and Sweden, and underlined the joint commitment to preserving and strengthening democratic values, peace and security in Europe.
During the meeting, Hasani expressed Albania's gratitude to the Swedish authorities for their strong support and assistance over the years for Albania's integration into the EU.
"Sweden has always been an unwavering supporter of Albania for institutional reforms, democratization, good governance and technical assistance during our European journey," he said.
Among other things, Hasani also underlined Albania's determination to complete the process of comprehensive and transformative reforms to align itself with European standards in a timely manner, as well as its role as a regular contributor to the cooperation, stability and cohesion of our region.
