"Taxes basket", 4 billion euros - Revenues exceed planning before the end of the year
The Tax Administration has collected 4 billion euros in the state budget for 2024, exceeding the planning made 10 days before the end of the year.
The official data of the General Directorate of Taxes show the good fiscal performance of this year, which came mainly from good administration, influenced by the entire tourist season, the increase in salaries in the state administration as well as the anti-information plan, where more than 9 thousand businesses responded by increasing wage declarations, which brought increased revenues for the budget.
Also, an excess of the Income Plan for November 2024 and the 11th month of this year was realized.
Specifically, in November 2024, revenues reached 32 billion ALL, exceeding 1.4 billion ALL or 14 million euros more than the monthly plan. As well as in relation to November 2023, 30 million euros more have been collected.
On the other hand, during the 11th month of 2024, revenues reached 370 billion ALL, exceeding the plan by 4.8 billion ALL or about 48 million euros. While in relation to the 11th month of last year, the tax administration collected 46.7 billion ALL, or nearly 475 million euros more.
Almost all income items from the tax administration have contributed positively, where the most important weight is occupied by income from social and health insurance contributions, value added tax and personal income tax.
