Tourist season, ISHSH intensifies control of swimming pools - Koçiu: Around 200 inspections, fines and deadlines for those with deficiencies
The State Health Inspectorate has continued to inspect swimming pools and hygienic and sanitary conditions in all entities of the country, within the framework of the tourist season. Since June, about 200 swimming pools have been inspected and the process will continue until the end of the season.
During the inspections, tasks with deadlines for improvement were set for swimming pools that resulted in deficiencies, and administrative measures were taken for entities that did not meet the parameters.
"The ISSH meticulously carries out inspections and re-inspections, treating seriously any signal or complaint from health institutions or citizens, to guarantee the safety and health of vacationers," says Minister Koçiu.
During inspections of swimming pools, attention was paid to respecting the capacities of the attendees based on the surface area of the pool; conducting physical-chemical and bacteriological analyses, internal regulations, and the presence of a qualified person for observation, rescue, and first aid.
