In the first 6 months of this year, 501 complaints from economic operators were addressed to the Public Procurement Commission.
Meanwhile, June is the month that has recorded the most complaints, with 131 such complaints recorded, while an increase in the number of complaints is noted, compared to the previous 5 months.
But compared to the same period last year, there has been a decrease in the number of complaints from economic operators, with 11 fewer complaints.
But what have economic operators complained about the most?
For the month of June, according to the Monthly Bulletin of the Public Procurement Commission, according to the phase of the process for which the complaint was filed, 65 complaints were for Standard Tender Documents, and 66 for bid evaluation. Meanwhile, the Tirana region leads with the highest number of complaints.
Also, in the month just left behind, the local government has the highest number of complaints with 47, while the central government has only 14 complaints.

According to data, financial fees collected as guarantees for procurement procedures in 6 months are around 126 million lek.
Meanwhile, the financial fees returned to Economic Operators at the conclusion of the review of procurement procedures are estimated at around 69.9 million lekë.
