Rural roads, new perspectives for the development of our villages - Prime Minister Edi Rama inspects the works on the Bunavi - Cherkovë road
Prime Minister Rama, together with the Minister of Defense Pirro Vengu, inspected the Bunavi-Kerkovë road in the Vlorë region, which has entered the second phase of its construction, to open a new development perspective for seven villages of the Qendër and Llakatund units. The Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, emphasized that this investment also serves the Bunaviëm military base, which will have about 500 military and support personnel.
"Here is also the base of the professional training center and the training schools for the first months of all military personnel, the Bunavi base that will be joined by a civil emergency brigade that will be dedicated to the Vlora region, this base will house 500 military personnel and support personnel."
On the other hand, Prime Minister Rama stated that the necessary interventions will be made to improve the infrastructure of the buildings, providing them with qualitative and optimal conditions.
"We need to make an intervention here. We need to improve the quality here, we are doing all that work with the boarding schools and vocational schools that will become European boarding schools so that whoever brings a child, especially from the villages to a private school, has the best conditions. Now the military is coming here for the first months, we need to make the conditions optimal. We have the opportunity to make an investment, to improve these buildings, to cooperate with the Development Fund, to equip them with an energy saving system."
The Bunavi - Kerkovë axis will create a new development perspective for seven villages in the Qendër and Llakatun units.
