Roads, Himarë Municipality opens 3 "super" tenders - Potential for agro-tourism development, limit fund reaches 6.6 million euros
The reconstruction of three rural roads in Himarë is expected to cost around 6.6 million euros. The municipality of the coastal city has opened three tenders for intervention in 3 axes, while the interested companies have 1 month to submit their offers.
In the tender documents, the areas are described as having great agro-tourism resources, while the improvement of the passability is expected to increase the development potential in this direction.
One of the tenders includes the reconstruction of the road connecting the village of Tërbaç with the national road, with a length of 5.17 km, while the limit fund made available is about 2.7 million euros.
The second axis is Borsh - Fterrë, with a length of 13 km, while the limit fund for the reconstruction of this segment amounts to about 2.4 million euros. The third axis of the third road Hore Vranisht - Vranisht. The length of this road is 2.7 km, while the limit fund is about 1.5 million euros
Intervention in the reconstruction of roads near areas with tourist potential is considered a priority. Meanwhile, in parallel with these reconstructions, it is intended to intervene on the coastal road, which starts at the roundabout Palase - Dhërmi, and ends in Saranda, for which the Albanian Road Authority developed the tender for its design.
