"The role of women in society is growing" - Albania 2030, Rama: We have more female entrepreneurs
The country's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, in a meeting with women in the city of Kavaja emphasized that the role of women in society continues to be strengthened, which is reflected everywhere. According to the socialist leader, girls and young women have an important role in the "Albania 2030" program.
"We have created new examples. We introduced the innovation of co-leadership of organizations, we have over 95 percent of organizations that have co-chairs. Today, we have 71 women and girls in our team for Albania 2030; on the closed lists, we have 52 percent women and girls. There is nothing more beautiful here than women and girls who will fight for men who are candidates. Here in Kavaja, something very significant has happened. We have brought here 4 deputies for this area, 2 of whom are women," said Prime Minister Rama.
Not only in the political order, but also in the role of entrepreneur. According to Prime Minister Rama, the number of women engaged in entrepreneurship has increased significantly and should continue to increase.
"Women in entrepreneurship, in terms of entrepreneurship, have reached 30%, which is a fantastic figure and must extend much deeper into society to guarantee liberation and equality between the genders and in every family," Prime Minister Rama said, among other things.
Also, Prime Minister Rama, among other things, indicated that the unequal treatment of women has decreased, but that it is not yet at satisfactory levels and that it needs to decrease even further.
