Customs collects 113.7 billion lek in the first 6 months - Achieves 100% of the plan!
During the first six months of 2025, the Customs Administration announced that it has achieved the revenue plan of 113.7 billion lek, which constitutes 100% of the projected plan. Compared to the same period in 2024, 3.6 billion lek more were collected, or +3.3% increase.
According to the information, customs managed to maintain stable performance in revenue collection, especially in terms of increasing customs clearances for excise goods, where record amounts were recorded:
+44,000 tons of fuel
+96 tons of cigarettes
+97 tons of coffee
+4,770 tons of beer
The results of the first half of 2025 prove that the Customs Administration remains a key pillar in securing budget revenues and maintaining the country's fiscal stability.
Despite macroeconomic challenges, stable performance, innovation in procedures, and records in customs clearance of excise goods place the institution on a positive trajectory for the second half of the year.
