Rama nga Cernobbio: Integrimi gradual, rruga e Shqipërisë drejt BE-së
Kryeministri Edi Rama, i pranishëm në Forumin e Cernobbios në Itali, ka folur për perspektivën europiane të Shqipërisë dhe mënyrën se si vendi mund të afrohet gradualisht me Bashkimin Europian.
Rama theksoi se integrimi duhet të nisë nga pjesa konkrete, përmes përfshirjes në tregun e përbashkët, universiteteve dhe shkëmbimeve europiane, ndërsa shprehu dyshime se zgjerimi i BE-së do të përparojë shpejt vetëm përmes mekanizmit të vetos.
"Integrimi gradual është mënyra e vetme për të na futur brenda dhe për ta nisur nga pjesa reale: tregu i përbashkët, të qenit pjesë e Europës së universiteteve, shkëmbimeve, të të gjithë elementëve shumë të rëndësishëm, para se të mendojmë për pjesën tjetër. Nuk besoj se 2027-a do të na presë lumturisht me kompetencën tonë të vetos. Nuk besoj se disa kryeqytete do të kenë aftësinë t’i thonë publikut: ‘Do ta marrim Shqipërinë me kompetencën e vetos’. Nuk na duhet kompetenca e vetos për t’u ulur rreth tryezës. Imagjinoni të kesh edhe 7 të marrë të tjerë të ulur rreth asaj tryeze. Do të ishte më mirë për Europën dhe për ne", u shpreh Rama.
