Foreign workers also in furniture - High demand and labor shortage drives business in the Middle East!
Not only the manufacturing sector, but also the furniture sector is being affected by the import of foreign workers.
The high demand for furniture, caused by the increase in the construction of new buildings, has led to the need for foreign workers, as many manufacturers say they are unable to cope with the load.
"The work has become very difficult, as we not only operate domestically, but also abroad. Due to increased demand, we are hiring foreign workers, mainly from the Middle East, " says Gentjan Margjini, owner of a real estate agency in the capital.
Mass emigration over the last decade has made it increasingly difficult to find labor within the country.
This has pushed local businesses to cope with the increased demand, while furniture imports have reached record levels, prompting them to hire foreign workers.
