SP decides today on Balluk's immunity - Rama speaks at the group meeting

The Socialist Party Parliamentary Group will convene today, where the focus of discussions is expected to be the report of five SP members to the Mandates Council regarding the Special Prosecution's request to lift the immunity of MP Belinda Balluku.
The report was drafted by the chairman of the Laws Committee, Ulsi Manja, who coordinated the work with the other socialist members of the Mandates Council to prepare the document.
Also, Prime Minister Edi Rama will deliver a speech before the majority MPs, where he will once again explain the political stance of the government and the Socialist Party regarding this issue.
"Today at 10:00 we will be LIVE in the Parliamentary Group to take a position on the prosecutor's request to restrict Belinda Balluku's freedom," Prime Minister Edi Rama announced through a post on social media.
The vote on the report is expected to be held at the plenary session on March 12. On the other hand, the opposition has already published its report supporting SPAK's request for authorization of the arrest.
